Wanting to do more than just take pictures, Gavin is highly active in the professional association the Association of Australian, Commercial and Media Photographers (the ACMP) and is the current president and for seven years was the Chairman of the Fuji ACMP Australian Photographers Collection which is the most prestigious and hotly contested National Photographic Award in the country.
