I have just spent the weekend at the Photo Marketing Association’s show in Sydney flying the flag for our association. I has been a great opportunity to attend seminars, catch up with photographers, suppliers and sponsors and plan the year ahead with colleagues coming up with new ideas for projects for the ACMP. The AIPP also have their major event at the show, their print awards.
In what may be a first, Photographer Steve Turner was very amused with himself proudly scoring a Gold Award at the AIPP print awards with a photo he shot on his iPhone.

I have had repeated requests to post the winning image and today Steve emailed me his winning entry plus a batch of his iPhone photos to show the iPhone isn’t a one trick pony.
