I did a shoot for Volvo International Magazine featuring Australia Post’s use of the new Volvo trucks for their long haul routes. I had trucks driving through spectacular landscapes, past iconic landmarks, all the while managing truck manoeuvring, curious traffic, and all on the few roads these massive vehicles can travel on.
After the article was published, Australia Post was very interested in purchasing images including, for which I am very proud of, my very first stamp (with a very tight crop from the original image). They went on to purchase more images including one for the front cover of their booklet celebrating 200years of service.

Congrats, Gav. That’s fantastic!
Interesting crop and treatment, indeed, but it works well there.
Funny, we often talk about our work being reproduced “postage stamp size”, but this isn’t usually what we mean by it!
Congratulations Gavin, well deserved, will look out for it!
hi. great article!
