Another favourite client of mine is Melbourne University. I work closely with the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences illustrating all their different domains and have the pleasure of taking photos of some of the finest minds in the country.
Shoots can be very short notice as opportunities arise and I work well with the communications team where they can pull together great subjects at extremely short notice, often as I arrive on location. I always look for what extra can I provide on shoots to add value to my service. One thing is a look for details that are generic and can end up being feature shots or space fillers. Here is an especially favourite one I shot yesterday.

Great shot! I’ve been looking through your blog and really like your work. Lots of versatility and different projects – looks fantastic!
You’ve made something simple look so beautiful and clean. May I ask what was your lighting set up for this?
Hi Natalie,
I shot this 1/250 @ f3.2 with a Nikon 24-70 on a D3. Lighting was a SB900 speedlight in a softbox high to the right.
I hope that helps.
