Years ago I applied for some funding through our photography association sponsors to profile photographers.
I remember that my plan was to shoot them, watch an editor work for the first 2 then apply what I learnt for the rest.
What actually happened was I developed a deep respect for the work of editors and their skills crafting an engaging story.
